Brother Luck’s Street Eats
2014
Brother Luck is a renowned chef, known for elevating relatable street-food. I was tasked with creating a logo for his first restaurant, Street Eats, a place to drink a beer, and order pork belly tacos. The location was attached to a gritty dive bar, and through the design, he wanted to unite the food and brews. Brother knew he wanted to incorporate a butcher’s cleaver and keep the majority of the color palette black and white, with permission to choose a third color as an accent. As a result, I decided to choose red as the accent color, which can be read easily paired with black or white, or layered over a photograph.
