Valerie Nosler

Campaign, 2017, 2019

Valerie Nosler is a member of City Council in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. I was approached to create a logo and design marketing materials during her first campaign in 2017. She didn’t win that year, however, we worked together again for her second campaign in 2019. Our message during both campaigns was positivity and community empowerment. Nosler is a mother with deep roots within Wheat Ridge; it was important to her to make an impact that had long-lasting effects. With those things in mind, I wanted to provide a design with an inviting playfulness that could be appealing and engaging to any age group. I decided that this meant we should stray from the political reds and blues, and instead chose colors that were not only eye-catching, but approachable.
